➡️ It is possible that you might need to defer your admission due to personal/professional reasons. Deferring admission is possible but it depends on the university policies & the program you have been accepted to!

Follow these steps to initiate the deferral process-

📑 Contact the Admissions office: This is the first step you should take if you want to defer your admission! Reach out to the admissions office as soon as possible. They can provide you deferral policies & guidelines for your program.

📑 Why you want to defer your admission: Provide a valid reason for your deferral. It might be due to personal reasons like family emergency, financial issues, medical issues etc. Be transparent and honest about why you want to defer.

📑 Find out the deadline: Make sure you have information about the timeline of the deferral process. Find out the deadline; it’s usually before the start of the first semester you are admitted to.

📑 Confirmation: Get a written confirmation from your university if your deferral request is approved. Make sure you have all the details about the new start date and any conditions associated with your deferral.
