Spoilers/Recap:
In this session of Echoes of Convergence, the champions complete the final trial set by Menat-Ra, proving not only their might, but their mercy as well. Judging them worthy, the sphinx grants each of them a unique divine boon, gifts that leave them even more formidable than before.

True to her word, she sends them at last to the Saurach city they originally sought—only for the champions to discover it is now inhabited by the Scaleclaw tribe of goblins. They are swiftly intercepted by the tribe’s de facto leader, Kizzik Bright-Eye, who subjects them to thorough questioning before agreeing to a bargain. Rhowan will help construct a new wall for the city, and in return, Kizzik will grant them access to what remains of the Saurachs’ records.

As preparations begin, the city hosts a feast in their honor. The champions mingle with the eclectic goblin inhabitants, learning their customs, their concerns and of an impending threat looming from a neighboring settlement of yuan-ti, casting a shadow over the celebration.
