MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Developing news involving the woman convicted of murdering MTSU basketball star Tina Stewart. Shantericca Madden's attorneys have appealed the trial court's decision against granting a new trial. The motion filed Wednesday also takes issue with some of Judge Don Ash's instructions to the jury and his ties to MTSU.
