Alibaug (Alibag) has two very beautiful beaches Kashid Beach and Akshi Beach. If you visit Alibaug beach ( Alibag beach ) then do not forget to visit these beautiful beaches of Kashid beach and Akshi Beach. There is also Murud Beach and Jazeera beach which we couldn't visit due to paucity of time. Both these beaches of Alibaug Kashid Beach and Akshi beach are much better than visiting Goa. They are super clean and have lots of water sports at Kashid beach. As compared to Goa ,Kashid is much cheaper and much cleaner. it is also less crowded and has decent crowd of families.There are lots of good Alibaug beach resorts and Alibaug hotels near beach.You can also find homestays in alibaug beach. Alibaug water sports is actually only at Kashid beach which you must visit during sunset time. Akshi beach is a sunrise beach and must visit in early morning hours.
How to reach Alibaug/ Kashid Beach
1. take a ferry ride from Gateway of Mumbai and reach in 45 minutes to Alibaug beach
2. By Road from Mumbai to alibaug takes 3 hours
3. By road from Pune to alibaug takes 4 hours
there are many budget homestays near kashid beach.
