Exploring Uvita, Costa Rica: Food, Waterfalls, Beaches, and the Issues facing Shark Conservation

Описание к видео Exploring Uvita, Costa Rica: Food, Waterfalls, Beaches, and the Issues facing Shark Conservation

In this video, I show my favorite things to do in Uvita, Costa Rica. Along the way, I discovered food, waterfalls, and adventures. But the biggest discovery occurred during my Scuba expedition.

At the end of the video, I interview and showcase my experience with my scuba instructors at Life Planet Project. In addition to all the fun things I did here, I also learned more about the problems and challenges facing shark conservation.

I didn't know until this trip that while Costa Rica has excellent ecological conservation projects, it is still lacking in its protections for marine life such as sharks, which are still hunted for commercial fishing industry in Costa Rica. Carolina and Davide, the conservationists who run the Life Planet Project, seek to change that.
