Hey guys and welcome back to ChriswithaC RC. Today we’re taking the Juisi WB12 Pro 1/12 4WD brushless RC buggy out for its very first run — and after just 6 minutes, disaster struck. This is a real-world durability test of a budget 3S brushless RC car claiming 80km/h performance… but can it actually handle light bashing?

Firstly, a big thank you to Juisi for sending the WB12 Pro over for review. As always on this channel, this is an honest, independent assessment. I genuinely had high hopes for this small-scale 4WD buggy and really wanted to love it.

🔧 Juisi WB12 Pro Key Specifications

1/12 Scale 4WD with metal gears

Rocket 2845 3600KV brushless motor

Rocket 35A 3S brushless ESC

3S 2200mAh 35C Li-ion battery included

Claimed 80km/h (50mph) with 21T pinion

CNC 2mm aluminum chassis

7075 aluminum shock towers

Metal differential & steel CVD shafts

Oil-filled large diameter shocks

Slipper clutch system

11kg waterproof metal gear servo

Approx. 25–26 minute runtime

On paper, this reads like a serious value-performance package. Low centre of gravity, 45:55 weight distribution, metal drivetrain components, anti-roll bar, aluminium motor mount — it sounds like a mini race weapon.

But specs on paper and real-world durability are two very different things.

We headed to my usual small-scale testing spot — a quiet industrial park — for a gentle first run. No huge jumps. No skate park abuse. No wild stunts. Just light ground bashing in normal UK weather conditions.

After just 6 minutes:

Rear wing destroyed

Rear hub snapped

Hub fractured in FOUR separate places

This wasn’t extreme use. That’s what makes this important.

Now I’ll let you watch the footage and decide for yourself… but here’s the bigger question:

If this was bought as a gift for a loved one or child, would that be acceptable durability?

Parts availability is also a major consideration. This isn’t widely supported in UK hobby shops, so replacement components could be a challenge. That makes it much harder to confidently recommend.

I’ll be speaking to Juisi to understand whether this is an isolated issue or something within the manufacturing process. Transparency matters.
