The Royal Orders are two quests you get from Aldous, the guy that kind of looks like jesus a little bit. He wants you to kill a griffin and get involved in Fournival's upcoming trial. You probably hate Fournival, I hate him and his daughter, but he sells the best items in the game and if he's found guilty he disappears from the game for good. Luckily, it's not hard to save him. Talk to Fedel on the second floor of the castle, then go to Fournival's house and grab the scroll off the table. After that talk to Father Geffrey at the cathedral, and that should do it. Just to be safe you can go to the stone of the north and have Sir Daerio send a witness (Ser Castor) who you'll have to escort back to Gran Soren. Use a ferrystone to warp back to Gran Soren if you don't want to risk him getting killed. He sucks at fighting.

Speaking of sucky fighters, I don't know how to save Ser Westley in the griffin fight at Bluemoon Tower. He can be saved, but I just don't know how. He's not a vital character anyway, so don't worry about it.

While you're waiting a few days for Fournival's trial, you can kill the nameless men for some good xp and discipline points.They're quite the imaginative bunch, thinking they can do things like bend time and walk places that even Death can't go.

And when you're ready to report back to Aldous, go during the day so you don't get thrown in the dungeon by that teacher's pet Ser Raster.
