HIMS Inc., located in Austin, TX, is the North American sales, marketing and distribution office for HIMS assistive technology products helping people who are blind and low vision. HIMS Inc., opened in November 2010, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of its parent company, HIMS International Corporation located in Daejeon, South Korea.

Established in January 1999, HIMS International Corporation, originally known as HIMS Co, Ltd., has been a worldwide leader in research, development, and manufacturing of assistive technology for more than a decade. Currently, HIMS has authorized Dealers in over 30 countries.

HIMS, meaning Human Information Management System, is as much a "human company", as we are an assistive technology company. We value our consumers as the heart of our business. Since the release of Braille Sense in 2002, HIMS has expanded its product line with at least one new product introduction every year. Our SenseView portable video magnifiers, originally expanding HIMS into the low vision market in 2006, are well-known for their attractive consumer-look, ease of use, versatility of features, and reliability. Our Book Sense DAISY player models, launched in 2007, are the most stylish and feature-packed products in its class. Presently, HIMS product line consists of 13 models of braille and voice notetakers, DAISY players, and portable video magnifiers.
