PAID FOR AMP CAPTURES for TONEX. WASTE OF MONEY or worth it? Demo featuring the Studio Rats Amp Pack

Is it worth buying or paying for amp captures for your Tonex software or Tonex Pedal to get better sounding captures? For that matter is it an advantage to buy Profiles for Kemper or Quad cortex?

In this video i enter the world of Paid captures with a broad based pack created by a group of chaps with a fab YouTube channel called the Studio Rats. These guys are great musicians and engineers who certainly know how to swing an xlr cable and get very pro sounding captures. Often the problem with Tone Net is the fact that absolutely anyone can create and upload their captures. Whilst this is a great community is it the best thing for quality of tone?

This video takes an in depth look with lots of demonstrations of the amps in the pack. It includes two channels of a Cornford Hellcat, 3 channels of a Matchless Independence, a Synergy Dumble preamp, a Marshal JCM 800, and a rare Chandler amp! I explore each amp with both single coil and humbucking pickups as well as have a tweak of the parameters to get the best tones I can from each with examples of playing and possible applications.

I then take things a stage further and demonstrate the Live setup i use based upon these captures.
