This family-owned Italian restaurant and deli recently expanded to include a specialty market where you can buy sauces, desserts, wines and more, all imported straight from Italy.

Tell us about the new Italian market
The Good Pizza has been a staple in this neighborhood for the past 15 years. Recently we remodeled to expand the business from pizzeria and deli to include a complete Italian market. We have products straight from Italy including different types of biscotti, balsamic glazes, truffle sauces, pasta sauces, wines and more.
All of the meats from our deli counter are imported from Italy including coppa, prosciutto, salami calabrese and finocchiona.

Tell us about some of the dishes you serve at The Good Pizza?
Our menu is unique, it’s not just pizza. We serve dishes you won’t find in any other pizza joint like black ink linguini, which we’re famous for, lobster ravioli and oven roasted salmon. Our specials change every day, but you’ll find dishes like drunken mussels and spaghetti pomodoro stracciatella.

What else can people expect when they dine here?
I am originally from Napoli, and I am the chef. I have a wonderful family working with me here in our kitchen, some of them for 13 years, and I have taught them and now they are taking over. Almost everything we serve is made from scratch. The pizza, the pasta, the seafood dishes.
We also make all our own sauces, which is a staple in Italian cooking. Our Bolognese sauce, our amatriciana sauce, our arrabbiata sauce, our puttanesca sauce, our alfredo sauce, our marinara sauce, they are all made in house. Everything is made from scratch. It’s an authentic Italian dining experience. And then you can shop in our market and take home a piece of Italy for your own kitchen.
