How a Disc Golf Disc is made

I had a lot of fun making this video!!! Hope you like it.

Here´s how a disc is made in text form.
Its starts with the plastic being carefully measured and mixed. For a consistent result the blend is then dried for up to 3 hours in a cylinder. After the drying process comes the colour blend. The plastic blend and the colouring then drops down into a injection cylinder. Pressure is set to match the specific mold and plastic - meaning how much force will be pushed into the disc mold. Enough force to fill the mold without spillage. When the set pressure is reached the mold then gets cooled down enough for the robot to extract the disc.

Excess plastic from the injection hole is then removed by clippers. The disc is then placed on an ventilated surface. At this stage the plastic contracts and the disc gets it final shape, with the dome etc. When the cooling process is done plastic is being removed from the edges of the disc. The disc is places on a scale to checks if the weight is correct and doesnt go above or below the approved weight span. Every disc most then pass the quality control. Made by hand.

The matching stamp for a specific disc is placed on the top side of the hot stamp machine. And with the disc being centered foil is pressed down for .8 seconds. And with the hot plate on top the stamp sticks onto the disc.
