Understanding Brain Development in Autism: Ages 9 and 19 Matter Most

Hi, I’m Natsai – a Naturopathic Nutritionist with a special interest in brain nutrition, autism, and ADHD. In this video, I’m sharing a bit of my personal journey as a mum to a severely distressed, nonverbal autistic child.

There was a time when my son couldn’t sleep, couldn’t speak, was constantly hand flapping, spinning, lining things up, and struggling with aggression and constipation. I was overwhelmed, heartbroken, and completely on my own. But through years of learning, healing, and applying what I know about nutrition and neuroplasticity, our story changed. And now I help other families change theirs too.

The truth is – our children’s brains are capable of so much more than we’re told. With neuroplasticity on our side and the right nutritional support, we can help them develop, learn, and begin to live unafraid.
