Lately I have been trying to break away from screens and one of the ways I have been able to fix this is by reading magazines. But not just any magazine of course bike magazines. Particularly the ones made by MBA, mountain bike action. For the most they do reviews of bikes and bike parts. But this video is not on one particular Bike Magazine, it's on all bike magazines. If there were any more. I've scoured the internet looking for other mountain bike magazines but from what I can tell MBA is the only one that is still in print which is pretty sad. Everyone else has gone completely digital or out of business. That brings me to ask the question: What do I buy physical magazines ? why not buy the digital thing.

I believe the reason why l buy magazines because it gives me something to do on rainy days. When the trails are way too muddy to ride. Or something to read in the long cold months of winter when shredding isn't even an option. It lets me get that bug of bikes out of my system before I go to bed. But most importantly, I think, the number one reason is that it gets me off a screen and actually holding paper in my hands. Instead of watching bikes on youtube and staring at a screen I now find myself reaching for my bike magazines. Theas have become like my social media for the day even though I have memorized almost all the bike stories and reviews. They give me all that I ask for, bike content. No ads, no interruptions.

I think the point I am trying here is, the bike magazines get me off a screen and it feeds my favorite hobby on days I can’t ride. And that is why I think mountain bike magazines are really cool. I suggest you subscribe to MBA because they have some really good articles in their magazines.
