"Harper, I want you to meet, Sakura O'harra. She's your fiancée and your marriage will happen in the next few months," walang gatol na sabi ng daddy ni Harper.

"What did you say, Dad?"

Tila nabingi si Harper sa sinabi ng kaniyang ama. Kagigising lang niya at iyon agad ang balitang sumalubong sa kaniya.

"Sakura is your fiancée, Harper," pag-uulit nito bago bumaling sa babae. "Sakura, this is Harper," pakilala naman nito sa kaniya.

Tumayo ang babae at nakangiting binati si Harper. "Hello, Harper. Ako si Sakura, kaibigan ni Naruto at nakatadhana maging asawa ni Sasuke. Nagmula ako sa bayan ng Konoha. Kinagagalak kitang makilala," masigla nitong sabi.

"Why did you agree to this marriage if someone is destined to be with you? You should stick to the one you love," seryoso niyang sabi kay Sakura.

Tumawa naman si Sakura at hindi niya nagustuhan iyon. Ayaw niya na pinagtatawanan siya. Nakakainsulto iyon para sa isang tulad niya.

"Ang boring siguro ng kabataan mo, Harper. Hindi mo ba kilala ang mga pangalang sinabi ko? Wala ba kayong TV noong bata ka pa?"

Umigting ang panga ni Harper sa inis. Pinagtawanan na siya ni Sakura, tinawag pa siya nitong boring.

"Dad, I won't agree to this marriage. Ako ang masusunod kung sino ang babaeng pakakasalan ko at hindi siya 'yon," mariin niyang pagtanggi at hindi pinagtuunan ng pansin ang sinabi ni Sakura.

"Wala namang humihingi sa pagsang-ayon mo, Harper. Matutuloy pa rin ang kasal kahit ayaw mo," sabat ni Sakura.

"Shut up, Woman! I'm not talking to you!" sigaw niya kay Sakura bago muling bumaling sa daddy niya. "Dad, akala ko ba bakasyon ang dahilan kaya pinauwi mo ako rito sa probinsiya? Pero bakit ipapakasal mo ako sa babaeng hindi ko kilala? May girlfriend ako sa Maynila at siya ang gusto kong pakasalan," mariing pagtutol niya sa desisyon ng ama.

"Then, ask your girlfriend to marry you," balewalang sagot ng daddy niya.

"Magpapakasal din kami ni Vien, pero hindi pa sa ngayon. Marami pa kaming gustong gawin bago magpakasal."

"It's better to break up your girlfriend, Harper, at si Sakura ang pakakasalan mo. And that's final."
