The lack of livelihoods options makes communities very vulnerable to social injustices like Gender Based Violence and HIV/AIDS. FAO is supporting the Government of Uganda in mitigating the impact of HIV, conflict and gender inequities on the population of humanitarian concern in northern Uganda. These interventions have developed innovative linkages between HIV and Gender inequity issues to food security.
