Hello! I know many of you have the opportunity to paint beaches during these summer months, so I wanted to share the beach scene I painted in South Carolina this last spring. Some of the things I address in this video are how to handle changing light, mixing neutral colors, some palette knife work and waves!

I prefer Trekel long flats sizes 2, 4, 6, & 8
I have a few small, angled brushes and some small round detail brushes
Small tri-angled palette knife, for cleaning the palette or sometimes for painting

Other:
Paper towels
Tripod
Odorless Mineral Spirit container
Palette Cup container
Bungee cord to hold paper towels
*Sometimes: Plein Air Umbrella (I prefer White)
Backpack to carry everything
Sketch book/pencil/eraser/view catcher
