"The Myriad Genome Brain"

Classical views of the brain have recognized its diversity of cell types, but have assumed that diversity arises from a single, constant genome. This assumption has been proven to be wrong, with many – perhaps all – neurons showing distinct genomes. This new realization has bearing on many aspects of brain function and disease, including new insights into Alzheimer’s disease.
