Der kom en melding til 112 om at en tysk båd var i havsnød og man rekvirerede redningsbåd fra Dansk Søredningsselskab, en EH101 Merlin redningshelikopter, Vordingborg Brandvæsen samt politiet. Bådene og helikopteren blev sendt til vandet ud for Ore Strand, hvor tyske turister var på en båd, som tog vand ind. En lille baby og to voksne personer var på båden.

Mandskabet fra Dansk Søredningsselskab fik en pumpe ombord på den skadede båd og man fik pumpet vandet væk og stoppet hullet i båden. Derefter kunne man trække den skadede båd i land. Der var Ingen tilskadekomne på grund af den hurtige søredning.

The danish emergency services received a call regarding a German sailboat in big trouble. It was taking in water and there were approx. 50cm of water in the boat already. The GPS position were close to Vordingborg city (Zealand island). There were a German family on board, two adults and an infant.

A rescue boat from Danish Sea Rescue Society were dispatched along with an EH101 Merlin SAR helicopter, Vordingborg Fire-department and the local police. The EH101 helicopter and rescue boats were sent directly to the accident boats GPS location.

The crew from the DSRS rescue boat got a pump onboard the accident boat and pumped out most of the water and then transported the boat into Vordingborg harbour. Everybody were safe because of the quick SAR operation.
