Dinghy Towing set-up for the Ocean

Описание к видео Dinghy Towing set-up for the Ocean

This is the best and safest way to tow a dinghy. Attaching a stainless steel line and shackle to the transom of the dinghy, which is the strongest point on the dinghy. Running the lines up to the front, and connecting it to the boat this way, puts all the pressure on the transom. You will never lose your dinghy again. Then the yellow floating line runs along the stern of the large boat connected to the cleats, again the strongest points on the large boat. With a 2" stainless steel ring, which can run freely on the yellow line, you will clip the dinghy steel line to this. Then if your dinghy is hit with a large wave, the bow of the dinghy will always face the wave, and ride up it nicely. I have towed this way in up to 20 foot large breaking waves, once the big boat was knocked down in a 20' foot rogue roller, and the dinghy stayed face up!
