I showcase all the purchasable, hints, and hints in the Japanese PS2 version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.
For the crime drama of The Closer which aired its second season on TNT in the same year that this game came out, it frequently deals with mature and disturbing subject matter, such as murder, discussions of weapons and murders, intense emotional interrogations, complex situations, computer recreations of crime scenes, rape, prostitution, explicit depiction of violence, strong language and sex. It even has complex, gritty and dark storylines that involve murder investigations, mature dialogue, and depictions of dead bodies and other disturbing crime scenes. Plus, it delves into the psychological aspects of criminal investigations, which may be difficult for children to process. The adult situations in the show include complex adult relationships, power dynamics, and ethical dilemmas that are too edgy for a younger audience. Examples of scenes that can scare kids include a lingering, detailed scene of a decomposing body in one episode, a dialogue exchange in the first episode which "No need to be a bitch about it" to which Brenda replies "If I liked being called a bitch to my face, I'd still be married", when Brenda thinks she's pregnant, when Brenda corrects her mother that she's not actually pregnant and she's actually going through menopausing, Brenda saying "Who's the bitch now?", and even a scene where a woman gets stabbed several times and falls into her pool as she dies. All of that can cause kids to have fear, emotional distress, nightmares, trauma, anxiety, depression, and confusion, due to them not being developmentally equipped to understand mature and violent subject matter and may desensitize them to the suffering of others or even damage their minds. That's why the series is rated TV-14 and that's how you can tell that it's not for kids. The show's logo and DVD covers can even scare them too much like seeing Brenda wearing police tarp as a dress and sitting on one side of a giant handcuff. If I had to rate it with Roger Ebert's rating scale, I would give it zero stars which he rarely did to movies. Had there been a video game based on The Closer, I say it would've been rated M by the ESRB since I can't imagine a game of it being rated T since no child or teenager would want to play that game and it probably would've been so bad since a lot of video games based on movies and TV shows are average or mediocre and the graphics would've looked terrible when compared to other video games that had been released beforehand so it's a big positive that the series never got a video game. Other crime shows and other dramas that didn't get a video game include NYPD Blue, Without a Trace, Cold Case, Prime Suspect, The West Wing, Boston Legal, American Dreams, Homicide Life on the Street, Psych, Monk, Law & Order: SVU (on its own), Profiler, Major Crimes, Hill Street Blues, Gunsmoke and Little House on the Prairie.
It would be adult themed if you depicted Brenda Leigh Johnson (Kyra Sedgiwck) getting killed in the same manner as Kenny McCormick in anything related to South Park where the dialogue would involve something with Stan Marsh and Kyle Broflovski where one says "Oh my god! They killed Brenda!" and then the other replies "You bastard(s)" which related to the series creators Trey Parker & Matt Stone as rats commonly appear to pick on her corpse.
Since Leia is the only female character in this game without the Use Old Save extra, it reminds me of how in the crime drama The Closer, Brenda Leigh Johnson is the only main female character while other female characters are rare and Kyra Sedgwick felt sorry for her that she never got a true female friend in the series.
The first TT LEGO game where you can actually create Brenda Leigh Johnson is LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures since it has blonde hairpieces for females. From then on, you can create her in any TT LEGO game on home console, but only if they have have a blonde hairpiece for females. I've been trying to create her in most of the TT LEGO games where it's possible.
Kyra Sedgwick wouldn't have worked in a lot of these female roles in Rogue One and the prequel and sequel trilogies since they went to actresses who were much younger than her.
When Quick Brick Games did his retrospective video on this game, he showed the original Xbox version only briefly, just so he could show the Use Old Save extra, due to it not being in the Xbox 360 version as LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game was not on Xbox 360. It's also not in the PSP version as the first game does not have a PSP version so you instead play through the final levels in each of the three prequel films which are in place of the Bounty Hunter Missions and complete Challenge Mode by earning all ten blue minikits in all the original trilogy levels to unlock the 46 prequel characters and earn a gold brick since you can't buy gold bricks from the Cantina in that version.
