The ozone hole, air quality and air pollution issues, greenhouse gasses, volcano eruptions, methane, and wildfire emissions. CAMS monitors all these atmospheric issues and more and delivers the data freely and openly to the public on a global scale.

2022 was an action-packed year for the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (*CAMS). From its work on links between COVID and air quality and forecasting of desert dust transport to ongoing provision of data on the composition of the atmosphere and monitoring of the ozone layer, the service has been busy in 2022 providing consistent, quality-controlled information in support of informed decision-making.
