Welcome back to my 4m² balcony garden! In this month’s journal, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned about balcony gardening over the last couple of years. I’ll take you through the process of starting tomatoes, radishes, basil, summer flowers, and my experiment with growing carrots. You'll see how I reuse everyday containers for seed starting, my favorite soil mix, and tips for keeping everything organized with labels. Plus, I’ll share a little about companion planting and which plants grow best together.

Follow along as I start a variety of tomatoes (including the Green Zebra and dwarf Imola), basil (green and purple), and even some edible nasturtiums and marigolds. I also go over the basics of sowing radishes and give my honest update on my carrot experiment—spoiler alert, it’s been a bit tricky! 🌱🍅🌸
