For 23 years I ignored the creative pull in my heart… and then in just one year everything changed. In this video I share how I went from doing nothing to pursue a creative career to making massive progress as an animator. I show a bit of my current animation work, but more importantly—I talk about the real turning point.

It wasn’t discipline.
It wasn’t motivation.
It wasn’t “grinding harder.”

It was relationship.

I tell the story of how I ran from my creative longing, joined the Marine Corps, battled addiction, and struggled with mental health… and how in the middle of all that, during one ordinary run, I encountered God the Father in a way I never had before. That moment changed everything. I realized He had been with me the whole time—through every failure, every restart, every hopeless creative block.
