The first of the in-depth videos of this Scotland trip: We start at Tantallon Castle with its great curtain wall, begun around 1350 and jutting out into the sea.
Next is the strange bridge over Biel water that is only accessible at low tide; at high tide it stands completely in the water.
Hailes Castle (closed like so many) is mostly from the 14th century and sits above the River Tyne.
St. Martin's Kirk in Haddington is a parish church from the 1100s - tough wind.
Craigmillar Castle was begun in the late 1300s and is hard to picture without a drone.
Finally we come to St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh, the most beautiful neo-gothic building I know.

Das erste der ausführlichen Videos dieses Schottlandtrips. Es geht los bei Tantallon Castle, das hinter seiner herrlichen Blendwand ins Meer hinausragt. Es wurde ab 1350 erbaut.
Als nächstes kommt die merkwürdige Brücke über den Biel Water, die nur bei Ebbe begehbar ist; bei Flut steht sie mitten im Wasser.
Hailes Castle, wie so viele Burgen geschlossen, stammt überwiegend aus dem 14. Jahrhundert und thront oberhalb des Flusses Tyne.
St. Martin's Kirk in Haddington ist ein seltenes Beispiel einer Pfarrkirche aus dem frühen 12. Jahrhundert.
Craigmillar Castle wurde im späten 14. Jahrhundert begonnen und ist schwer ohne Drohne aufzunehmen.
