True story of friendship and loyalty between two naval aviators despite their distinctly different backgrounds. LTJG. Thomas Hudner Jr, a Naval Academy graduate , intentionally crashed his plane in the Korean War in an effort to save his downed wingman , Ensign Jesse Brown, the Navy's first African-American fighter pilot.
