Jackson Hole Ski Resort Wyoming 1/7/2024

Surprising amount of terrain open at Jackson Hole Ski Resort in Wyoming, despite the slow snow start to the season. Many turns were soft and gentle, others were hard and scratchy. Lots to ski in the Amphitheater. It was even worth a couple of laps, then time to cut across to Gros Ventre and head down to the base area and catch the Tram. No line today, that's a first. The queue soon fills up, though. The view from the top of Rendezvous Mountain is spectacular. Corbet's Cabin is packed, but it's a welcome waystation before the big top to bottom adventure. Rendevous Bowl off the top delivers the goods, then it's time to head over to Laramie Bowl, then back across the mountain and down Tramline to the base. Perfect end to a perfect day of skiing.
