KV Vijayendra Prasad is a well-renowned film director and screenwriter. He mainly works in Telugu and Hindi film and television industry. KV Vijayendra Prasad was born on 27th of May 1942in Kovvur, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India. In 2011, he directed; Rajanna' which won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film. Since 1988, he was the screenwriter for more than 25 films, most of which turned out to be blockbusters.His recent works include Baahubali: The Beginning, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan which became biggest blockbusters of the year, for which Prasad won the Filmfare Award for Best Story.Vijayendra Prasad is the father of filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli and uncle to music composers M. M. Keeravani, M.M. Srilekha, Kalyani Malik, and writer S.S. Kanchi.
