Our guest, Brian Bjorndal (  / brian-bjorndal-1525a145  , is the Director of RSIC’s Fergal Nolan National Laboratories (https://radiationsafety.ca/laboratory.... He has a M.Sc. in Nuclear Physics from the University of Saskatchewan and over 20 years of experience in radiation safety and occupational health and safety in industry, academia and research. The webinar begins with a short presentation on the terminology, jurisdiction, and regulatory structure for transporting this dangerous good category. It then moves to the interview Brian, which includes the steps to prepare a package for transport, required documents, and placards. There is also information about what needs to be done in case of an accident. Mr. Bjorndal answers questions from the participants following the interview.
