Liam Gray was a happy-go-lucky 18-year-old who loved to be the center of attention. Growing up in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, he was always dancing and singing along to his favorite songs. He struggled at school and at home, but things started to improve when he moved in with his grandad, Pops. Pops helped to keep Liam on track and gave him the stability he needed.

Liam's best friend, Reese, lived across the road and the two were inseparable. They were like brothers, always smiling and making each other laugh. But then Liam met Jonathan Treadgold, a 17-year-old with a troubled past. Treadgold had been taken into care after witnessing domestic violence and drug use, and he had a history of violence. Despite his reservations, Liam welcomed Treadgold into their group, and the three of them became like the Three Musketeers.

But Treadgold was hiding a dark secret. One day, he walked into Liam's grandfather's kitchen and, without warning, stabbed Liam in the chest. The police and ambulance arrived quickly, but it was too late. Liam's family was devastated, and they could not understand why Treadgold would do such a thing. As Liam's loved ones struggled to come to terms with his death, they were left to wonder what could have been done to prevent this tragedy.
