Short Summary:
People don’t die for lack of maps; they die for lack of timely, trusted routes at the worst moment. Gauges cover small areas, aircrafts are grounded in storms, optical imaging is blinded by clouds. We need guidance that stays reliable at peak weather and reaches users at address level. The goal is blunt and practical: cut evacuation delay from hours to minutes.
What we built:
DryPath is a web tool that fuses NASA GPM IMERG rainfall with Sentinel-1 C-band (VV/VH) SAR to map flood risk. Where available, we ingest L-band SAR to separate saturated soils from water under the canopy.
The result: routes that avoid flooded roads—and a map that Refreshes automatically as new data arrive.
