📑 OBC & EWS Document Checklist 2025
Make sure you have the following ready in the correct Central Government format and date range:
1. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate
Format: Must be in the Central Government Format (as prescribed in the KVS/NVS official notification). State-only OBC certificates are not accepted.
Validity Date: It must be issued within the date range specified in the official notification. Typically, it should be issued on or after 01/04/2025 and before the closing date of application (December 4, 2025).
Issuing Authority: Issued by a competent authority (Tehsildar/SDM/Collector, etc.).
2. EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Certificate
Format: Must be the Central Government EWS Certificate Format.
Validity Date: It must be valid for the Financial Year 2025-2026 (based on income of FY 2024-2025) and issued before the application closing date (December 4, 2025).
Proof: The certificate must clearly mention the validity period.
