Airbus Failure Management (ECAM)

In this video we discuss the failure management on the Airbus FBW family of aircrafts. Using the A320 as an example we present a step-by-step guide with detailed information on how a professional flight crew deals with any failure. This approach to failure management is universal for all failures on the Airbus aircraft and should be second nature to all Airbus pilots. We demonstrate how and when to announce ECAM actions, state failures, clear title failures, show secondary failures and read the status page before announcing ECAM actions complete.
