Indigal 2015: Canadian Female Indie Artist Collective
It's time for a fresh new album of Christmas songs! And we want to bring the most awesome album of contemporary tunes to you this season.

Indigal is an all female collective of independent Canadian "indie" artists.
The goal of the project is to create a fresh new Christmas album to be released December 1, 2015, that you will want to play year after year.
An album that you can give as a special and unique gift to your friends and family.
In addition to this beautiful album of Christmas tunes with an indie twist, the Indigals will be performing their songs at a concert on Dec 6th, 2015 in Toronto where you, as a supporter, are invited to attend in appreciation for your generous contribution!
In addition to supporting the creation of this fresh new and unique indie Christmas album, proceeds from our concert will go to support the Humber River Hospital Foundation in their efforts to bring us the first fully digital hospital in North America, situated in North York, Toronto.

We already have the commitment and donation of time and effort on behalf of all of the Indigals, and the talented musicians who will play on the album.
We already have the studio and equipment we need to record the album thanks to Across The Board Music.
We need your support to mix, master, package, promote and distribute the album to the world!

Our Christmas album is unique in that it brings together a collective of 9 talented women who individually represent some of the brightest talent in Canada, and together create a collective to inspire other independent singers and songwriters to rise to their potential.

Indigal 2015 demonstrates how women can band together--literally--to achieve what may have only been a dream individually.
Indigal 2015 is a starting point for future female collaborative projects that can inspire young artists-male or female to continue to aspire!
Each Indigal brings with her a wealth of talent and experience in performance, recording arts, musical arrangement, musicianship, production, directing, videography and marketing.
Each of the Indigals have previously succeeded at creating recording projects, major music videos, live performances or regular online web series.
We have experience in marketing and promotions, concert production, and advertising.
The Indigals are well versed in the use of social media to promote and market musical projects.
Challenges
The Indigals are committed to this project and already have a well-defined schedule and time lines for success. The challenge for us is in securing funding support for the technical aspects of album completing--mixing, mastering, production and packaging--as well as the funds to promote the album in order to have it heard, and subsequently distributed.

We plan to offer digital downloads as well as physical CDs.
We plan a concert which requires upfront funding to secure the venue and rent sound equipment and technicians.
We have the task at hand of completing the recording and editing of all of the songs on the album in a short period of time.
Many hours will go into the creation of the album, promotion of the project and the production of the concert to present the album.
Time Lines
We have a well defined time line with full commitment from our Indigals and supporting musicians which includes several days of recording, rehearsing and individual plans to promote the album and concert within each of the Indigal's social and professional network.

Concert Date "A Very Indie Christmas": Dec 6, 2015
Album Release Party: Dec 13, 2015
We hope to be invited to promote the album and concert to local media in and around Toronto.
