"40 Acres" The Movie
Theme: What happens when you are tempted outside of your core community that is the source of your strength & structure
This movie did not play out according to my preconceived perception of my Americanized view of 40 Acres because it's always been related to the promise made to slaves.

This movie was refreshing as a fictional depiction of how a familial community sharing a mission of solidarity to survive during a food apocalyptic famine. Everything was going according to plan until the enemy outside lured them with outside temptations. The outside temptations threatens the well built plan to survive right as their learned failures was on the cusp of causing them to thrive in crops and resources. Great film 🎞️ 👍🏾
