After moving from Venezuela to Texas to study English, Jacqueline “Jacqui” Saburido, very quickly had her life turned upside down. In less than one month of being in the States, Jacqui was involved in a fatal car crash. And after being engulfed in flames for 45 seconds, doctors thought there was no way she would make it. Months and years of intensive burn treatment and countless operations later, Jacqui survived this crash. And she would soon become the face of the anti-drunk driving movement, living to tell the tale, that "not everyone who gets hit by a drunk driver dies."
