In this video Dreamcastguy breaks down the new gameplay tester leaks for Resident Evil 8 Village. This includes a new setting, a new monster type called the "Strigoi" and look like Krampus. These new enemies hunter a new female playable character in a cave system and make it seem like the gameplay will be true survive horror in the style of Resident Evil 4 when we play as Ashley during certain castle segments. Resident Evil 8: Village will be releasing on Ps5 PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and apparently is being played on a Ps4 Pro during testing. Resident Evil Village[a] is an upcoming survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. It will be the tenth major installment in the Resident Evil series, and the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

The game was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June 2020, and is scheduled for release in 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. The game is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. During the reveal Capcom's Kellen Haney said about the story: "Ethan's world suddenly comes crashing down once again when Chris Redfield, an unexpected yet familiar face makes an appearance, setting off a chain of events that sees a distraught Ethan seeking answers to Chris's shocking actions, and ultimately finding him in a mysterious village." Events will take place in Europe.

As with Resident Evil 7, the game was developed on the RE Engine and is set in the first-person perspective.
