Have you ever wondered how we know that the universe is expanding? We’ve known it since the late 1920s, yet all we can learn from the universe is in the light emitted from stars. It turns out that light has more to it then you would think.

Salutations! I am Samantha Betts, a senior attending Hudson High School in Hudson, Ohio. I plan to study Mechanical Engineering in college with a minor in Astronomy or Astrophysics. I love what the universe can teach us about our own home and what we can learn about the universe by analyzing commonplace experiences. With an inconceivably large universe to explore, how can you ever be bored? PS: Sorry the the mediocre drawings
