Описание к видео 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon Futura - Nashville Showroom - Stock # 487

For sale in our Nashville showroom is this Hupmobile Sedan. In 1911 Hupp became one of two automakers pioneering the use of all-steel bodies. Nelson approached Hale & Kilburn Company in Philadelphia looking for help with developing an all-metal body for the Hupp 32. Hale & Kilburn had pioneered the replacement of cast iron with pressed steel for many parts for the interiors of railway carriages. According to Nelson, “None of the Detroit plants would contract” to make an all-steel body for the Hupp 32. This little piece of history has been well maintained over the years and looks to be pretty much original. The steel body was repainted about 8 years ago. The yellow breaks up the black a bit, but keeps it all classy. The wire wheels have been painted yellow and match the stripe well. The big white border white wall tires finish off the exterior theme. The chrome on the headlights and bumpers is still in very good shape. The Inline 6 cylinder engine is original to the car. The interior will be you back to a much simpler time. The Moe Hair looks to be in excellent and with proper care will easily make it to its 100th birthday. After all, it’s only another 15 years away. This Hupmobile Sedan for sale in our Nashville Showroom and can be viewed at www.GatewayClassicCars.com including an HD video.
