Описание к видео Pakistan’s Obsession with Hindu Hatred: A Nation’s Self-Inflicted Wound

Nasir Sayani has been living in the United States for the past 54 years. He went to America in 1971 to pursue higher education, intending to return to Pakistan and use his education for the country’s progress. However, soon after his arrival, he began hearing reports about the Pakistan Army’s military operation in East Pakistan. At that time, like many young Pakistanis, he believed that Pakistan could do no wrong and even felt an urge to return home to support the military.

Having grown up in an environment where India and Hindus were portrayed as cruel and cowardly enemies, he and other Pakistani students in Florida even protested against the Concert for Bangladesh organized by George Harrison of The Beatles and Indian musician Ravi Shankar.

He completed his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and earned his graduate degree from the University of Minnesota. Over the years, he built a successful professional career as an accountant and eventually retired as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

In recent years, he has been active on social media, often engaging critically with self-styled “patriotic” Pakistanis. Through extensive research into the actual history of India–Pakistan relations, and a deeper study of Islam and the Quran, he has come to the conclusion that Pakistan is on a perilous path.

While he does not claim to be a historian or journalist, his opinions are grounded in personal inquiry and reflection—and often resonate with the views of those who seek a more honest understanding of South Asian history.
