Stockfish 14 (50 DEPTH!) Plays The King’s Gambit vs Max Engine!

Описание к видео Stockfish 14 (50 DEPTH!) Plays The King’s Gambit vs Max Engine!

Hello everyone! Today Stockfish 14 will be trying out the razor-sharp King’s Gambit against Chess.com’s Max Engine! With 1. e4 e5 2. f4, white offers black the chance to take a pawn.

As compensation, the black pawn is lured away from the center, and white has relatively easy development in the center of the board. The opening may be double-edged however; white can begin plotting an attack with the newly opened f-file, while black always has the looming move Qh4+ which may pose white some trouble. Engine evaluation shows a slight advantage for black (-0.41), but it’s anyone’s game. Who will come out on top?
