Ingredients:
For this recipe, we will need:
1/4 cup ghee
1/4 cup water
1 tsp cardamom powder
¼ cup peanuts (dry roast)
1¼ cup white til (sesame seeds - dry roast)
1¼ cup black til (sesame seeds - dry roast)
1½ cup jaggery
Method:
Step 1: Dry roast the sesame seeds in a pan on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Be careful not to burn them. Once done, transfer them to a plate and let them cool down.
Step 2: In the same pan, add ghee and jaggery. Stir continuously until the jaggery melts and the mixture starts to bubble.
Step 3: Add water to the pan and stir well. Let the mixture boil for a few minutes until it thickens and becomes sticky.
Step 4: Now, add the roasted sesame seeds, chopped almonds, chopped cashews, and cardamom powder to the pan. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
Step 5: Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down for a few minutes.
Step 6: Once the mixture is cool enough to handle, start rolling them into small balls. Make sure to press them tightly so that they hold their shape.
Step 7: Your Til Ke Laddu or Sesame Seed Balls are ready! You can store them in an airtight container for up to a week.
