Okin (Phoenix Mecano) BetaDrive Motor Spring Failures!

Do you have a loud clicking noise when you raise your electric couch? I have two couches with two each of these motors (4 total). To date, I have had to disassemble all four motors because these springs have failed in the bend where they attach to the motor casing. Okin has told me that they do not deal directly with customers and their issues. I also tried to get them to let me know their supplier of this spring so I can get them information about the spring failures, but again, no luck there. So I made this video so that anyone else who has this trouble knows that there is at least one option to spending $200+ to replace the entire actuator because of failure of one cheap component. With the spring removed, this couches are operated daily and I've seen no difference in functionality except that I know that I don't have to deal with the springs anymore. I hope this video helps.
