Val's Cabin

Sometime during the Covid year, I put together a little video for my song, Val's Cabin. This is a tale about the Stanislaus River, where I used to swim and frolic and dream as a kid. Much of that beautiful canyon is under the New Melones Reservoir now. The fight to stop the damming of the Stanislaus launched a movement to preserve and protect free-flowing rivers in California, which has helped turn the tide against dams.
