Although Oscar De La Hoya was a boxing champion, being a father to six kids has presented many challenges for the former Olympian.
De La Hoya's family history is anything but straightforward; after starting a relationship with Shanna Moakler in 1997, he only became a father for the first time in 1998, when ex-girlfriend Toni Alvarado gave birth to their son Jacon. The boxer and Angelicque McQueen's baby, Devon, was born nine months after they first started dating. De La Hoya and Moakler welcomed their daughter Atiana the next year. McQueen described the day she discovered De La Hoya was the mother of a child with Moakler in a 2009 interview with Fight Hype.
