Описание к видео Eating Disorder Therapist and Podcast Host Harriet Frew talks to Ben.

Eating Disorder Therapist, Harriet Frew discusses her journey overcoming bulimia and how it fuels her passion as a therapist and podcast host.

About Harriet Frew:
I'm Harriet Frew - an experienced counsellor who specialises in supporting you in eating disorder therapy, to find peace with food and body image. I am host of the eating disorder podcast - The Eating Disorder Therapist and trainer in eating disorders and body image. I offer individual therapy, online courses, training and Breakthrough Days.

My approach is anti-diet and promotes a healthy relationship with food and your body. I work with the psychology of disordered eating, helping you understand your story and then supporting you in learning the skills, habits and behaviours to find peace with food and then live your life.

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Eating Disorders Practitioner, and have worked in an Adult Eating Disorder NHS Service and privately since 2003. I am also an expert through experience having made a full recovery from bulimia nervosa.

I'm an integrative counsellor drawing on Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. I'm passionate about the therapy relationship and instilling hope that recovery is possible, specialising in working with bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and OSFED. I aim to bring warmth, compassion and encouragement to each session, offering a personalised approach to each person I work with.
