Incredible talented and fun interview with Charlie Chan who is about to make tick off an incredible event. In our interview Charlie greeted me backstage and we had a guided tour outside where we spoke. It is uncut and so enjoyable to talk to Charlie and cant wait to see this first time event.

SUPERNOVA is a 24+hour marathon endurance performance by one of Australia’s leading concert pianists, composers and creative innovationists, coinciding with the winter solstice. Charlie was a delight to talk to today who greeted me on zoom call in rehersals rooms at Hota and meet Kevin who was tunning the pianos to where we went to walk to outside of the arts centre to talk on Supernova! With that Charlie shared how the ideal came about. This is one amazing event that never been done before and how special that it is on the Gold Coast.
