Experienced yoga teacher Melody Hansen guides you in Yogananda's powerful and unique energization exercises. Recorded in a beautiful garden at Ananda Village.

In this session, engage in a series of energization exercises. The practice starts with a prayer for recharging the body, mind, and soul with cosmic energy and joy. The energization exercises involve systematic tensing and relaxing of various body parts, including calves, forearms, thighs, chest, back, shoulders, and neck, accompanied by controlled breathing. The session includes rotations, spinal adjustments, skull tapping, and abdominal recharging. Concluding with a double breathing exercise without tension, awareness is internalized and gratitude expressed.
