The Snuggy Hoods Sweet Itch Head offers excellent coverage for face, ears and eyes and is designed to be used either alone, with the Bug Body or with a standard high neck fly rug or summer sheet.

Having built in ears and fringe, lined in the mane area behind the ears with a silky fabric and elasticated adjustment for a close fit, the Head comes either as a pull on or zipped for easier fitting.

Constructed of a robust yet lightweight and fully breathable fabric which prevents insects biting, and is also heavy showerproof and stops coat bleaching whilst keeping your horse or pony clean!

The optional zip runs from chin to under the neck. Without a zip the Head is pull on so simply slip over the nose and pull backwards into position.

There is also an option to have the Fly Fringe 'detachable' with Velcro so the head can be transformed into a Turn Out Head with ears for winter use. Click here to add the Detachable Fly Fringe.

Designed for use with the Bug Body but is suitable for use with any full neck fly rug or summer sheet.

A spare piece of Velcro is provided so the Head can be attached to the neck of the rug for added security.

This Head has a zip – but you can also have without a zip. Tighten all the velcros on the nose, the throat and the close fit poll adjuster. At the back of the head is an extra Velcro tab - which you can attach and connect to high neck fly rug or summer sheet.

The Anti Itch Horse head has all Snuggy’s flexibility. It can also be used with the headless hood or the Snuggy Bug Body. The Velcro and elastic are perfectly placed for defence against insects.

As well as cream the head comes in Haint Blue and Brown. If you buy one without a zip, slip it over the NOSE and pull over the head into position. The head keeps your horse and pony clean as well as protected. The Sweet Itch – Anti Itch head is one of many seasonal options Snuggy Hoods has to offer. You can also buy a quilted laundry bag for machine washing. Everything is machine washable.

Because of the durable, fully breathable fabric the head can be worn in all weathers. If you opt for a detachable fly fringe – it’s transformed into a Turn Out Head.
