In 2015, 11 BLM mustangs were brought on to the forest trail crew by the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. These mustangs were previously cared for by BLM Nevada and trained by the Nevada Dept. of Correction's inmates, a great program that has adopted out over 1000 mustangs to new homes.
