We use tables to show area and chairs to represent perimeter in this easy to understand introduction to these important skills in 2-dimensional geometry. This video keeps it very simple and merely introduces the concept of square units as they relate to area and perimeter without getting into larger numbers or composite shapes. At this point, we still don't have a video that explores area and perimeter on a deeper level.

By the way, did you catch what happened at 01:19 in this video? It happened really quick! Perhaps you missed it. I guess it's worth noting that dog's mouths are often cleaner than human mouths, or at least that's what my Grandfather used to tell me when his dogs Nester and Jack would slobber all over my face. At least they were spreading love, right?
